Next Episode was founded on a simple observation: most organisations know what they are. Far fewer have decided what they are becoming.
01Why Next Episode
The gap between now and next is where the work is.
A company changes in three places at once — the people in it, the way it is organised, and the technology it runs on. Change one and the other two pull it back.
Most support is built for one of the three. We work across all of them, because that is where the resistance actually lives.
The name is the argument. An episode ends. Something follows it. What follows is not discovered — it is written.

Not potential as a sentiment. Potential as an operating condition — designed, resourced and maintained.

Work that is not decided by where someone was born, or where they happen to be.
We are building from Japan, towards Asia, towards further. Not because global is a goal, but because talent has never respected the border and organisations are only now catching up.

Direction beats consensus. We would rather begin, learn and correct than arrive at certainty too late to use it.

We automate what should be automated, and refuse to automate judgment, accountability or the relationship. That refusal is the point.

Nationality, language and location are constraints to design around, not filters to select with.

We say what is true, including when it costs us the engagement. We claim only what we have actually done.

Locate
Find the constraint that is actually binding — not the one that is easiest to describe.

Build the smallest structural change that moves it, with the people who will have to live inside it.

Run it long enough to know whether it holds. Hand it over when it does.
06Human × Technology
Technology decides how much we can do. People decide what is worth doing.
We are unsentimental about tools. If a system does a task better, faster and more consistently than a person, it should do that task.
And we are equally unsentimental about the limit. A model can rank options; it cannot be accountable for the choice. It can draft a message; it cannot hold the relationship the message belongs to.

Japan is where we start, not the size of the question.
The problems we work on — hiring, structure, retention, operations under pressure — are the same in Tokyo, Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City. The constraints differ. The thinking travels.

These are not policies. They are descriptions of how this site and the system behind it actually work.
One way in
You do not have to choose the shape of the support before we have spoken. What we ask is what is not working; deciding the approach is our job.
Nothing is filled in by guesswork
What is unknown is written as unknown. Plausible figures and conditions are never inferred to fill a gap — what is published is what the organisation stated.
AI assists; people decide
No decision about a person is made by a model. Where AI drafts or translates, someone reviews and approves before anything is published.
Personal data does not reach analytics
No name, email address, phone number, document or filename is sent to an analytics tool. What may be sent is an allowlist; everything else is removed before it leaves.
Hold less.
Not a description of our security posture — a description of what we actually do with what you send.
Only what is needed
Address, date of birth, gender, photograph, nationality and current income are not collected when you first get in touch. They are not optional fields either.
Consent is recorded
When you agreed, and to which version of the privacy policy, is kept separately from the application itself — and survives the personal data being deleted.
Documents are stored privately
No public URL is issued for anything you send. The storage identifier is random and is never derived from the filename.
Nothing is opened before it is checked
An uploaded document is examined first. Until it is found safe, nobody here opens it and it is not passed to our record system.
Data is deleted when its purpose ends
Personal data is removed once it has served its purpose. The record of what was agreed remains.
No certification we do not hold is displayed, and no security claim is made here that cannot be checked.
